OIL AND VACUUM TREATMENT OF 500kV REACTORS AND TRANSFORMERS

  • CLIENT: TEYMA
  • END USER: COMISIÓN TÉCNICA MIXTA SALTO GRANDE
  • Oil treatment and filling of new equipment (9 General Electric 33.33MVAr 500kV Reactors) during the pre-assembly stage at a temporary site and during final erection on the Substations bases.
  • High vacuum was applied until a pressure <1mbar was reached and maintained for 48 hours.
  • Dielectric oil treatment was carried out using thermo-vacuum until the oil standards required by the manufacturer were met (dielectric strength, humidity, particles, etc) and subsequent filling of the equipment.
  • Treatment and filling of new equipment (3 SIEMENS 500kV 100MVA Transformers) during the pre-assembly stage in a temporary site and during final erection on the Dam service bridge.
  • High vacuum was applied until a pressure <1mbar was reached and maintained for 48 hours.
  • Dielectric oil treatment was carried out using thermo-vacuum until the oil standards required by the manufacturer were met (dielectric strength, humidity, particles, etc) and subsequent filling of the equipment.

INSPECTION, DIAGNOTIC AND REPAIR OF ZTR 500kV AUTOTRANSFORMERS

  • END USER: UTE – Estacion Montevideo I 500 (MI5)

DST trabajando en conjunto y mancomunadamente con las áreas de Ingeniería de Transformadores y Obras de Transmisión de UTE, llevaron a cabo la inspección completa (interna y externa), diagnóstico, dirección técnica y supervisión, desmontaje y reparación de la parte activa de un transformador de 500kV mediante el desencubado in-situ, siendo la primera reparación de estas características realizada en Uruguay.

Las tareas llevadas a cabo por el equipo de trabajo fueron:

  • Inspección, diagnóstico, desmontaje y reparación de dos autotransformadores marca ZTR 500kV 83.33MVA cada fase.
  • Inspección interna completa de las fases A y B, ensayos eléctricos y diagnóstico.
  • Complete disassembly and untanking
  • Repair of the active part (replacement of insulation damaged during the short circuit, pressing of all coils, replacement of copper plates, etc.).
  • Complete assembly and vatting.
  • Surface drying of the autotransformer insulation
  • Oil treatment and filling.
  • Testing Commissioning

ELECTROMECHANICAL ASSEMBLY, OIL AND VACUUM TREATMENT OF FOUR 500kV LINE REACTORS AND ONE 132kV NEUTRAL REACTOR

Electromechanical assembly, Vacuum, Oil Treatment, Filling and Testing

  • Assembly of reactors accessories (bushings, radiators, conservator tank, pipes, etc.).
  • Assembly and verification of reactors protections (Buchholz, thermometers, etc.).
  • Application of dry air during assembly.
  • High vacuum treatment (<1torr for 48 hours) in reactors.
  • Oil treatment in tanks by thermo-vacuum to reach the levels required by the manufacturer prior to filling (stiffness, humidity, particulate matter, etc.).
  • Oil filling of the reactors.

SURVEY OF ELECTRICAL INSTALLATION AND UPDATE OF SINGLE-LINE DRAWINGS

  • Survey of power switchboards at the Pepsico Colonia production plant.

  • Advice, inspection and survey of the electrical installation of the 10th floor of the WTC.
  • Execution and update of single-line drawings.

ADVISORY OF ELECTRICAL INSTALLATIONS

  • Consultancy and advisory in valuation of electrical works executed.
  • Consulting on critical contractual modifications inherent to electrical installations in buildings belonging to SUAT.

LIGHTING PROJECT AND SUPPLY OF LED LUMINAIRES FOR NATIONAL ROUTE 14 AND ROUTE 3

  • Lighting project for sections of Route 14 and Route 3, including bridges, roundabouts, among others.
  • Supply of more than 200 LED street lights.

SUPPLY OF NIGHT VISION EQUIPMENT

  • Supply of 50 monocular night vision equipment for night surveillance.
